Summary

 n the video Critical and Creative thinking by Stephen Brookfield, he talks about how encourage learners to develop a critical and creative thinking.Thus. he defines a critical person someone who  is able to view ideas and practices from multiples viewpoint.So, it used to moving outside of their habitual typical framework. Besides, he said that  critical thinking is focus on understanding and checking out assumptions and when it is creatively thinking is when your ability emphasized more to look at things from multiple viewpoints and have multiple responses to familiar ideas.

 Another thing that Stephen talk is about kind of assumptions.They are casual which is a sequence of events.In other words cause and effect. Another one is prescriptive is abouth things happen and embedded in statements and the last one is paradigmatic is structured assumptions that just frame the wole way that you look at a subject área.

 Finally, he mentioned intelectual traditions such  as analytic philosophy, natural sciences, critical theory and pragmatism.They are a problem in critical thinking when students listen the term of traditions.
